The PowerCommand® B-Series is revolutionary bypass-isolation transfer switch solution for completely integrated and reliable power systems in mission critical applications.

The B-Series transfer switch High Endurance Mechanism (HEM) utilizes electromagnetic force to ensure contacts remain closed during high current faults. When a fault occurs, electromagnetic fields develop around moving and stationary contact arms. The HEM utilizes the resulting electromagnetic forces to firmly hold the contacts together; the higher the fault current the greater the force. The B-Series uses the same HEM technology for both the automatic transfer switch and the manual bypass transfer switch mechanisms.
